Relics

Relics and objects of devotion connected with extraordinary events. For many of them the status is “Approved veneration”: the Church permits and promotes the veneration of the object, but has not ruled on its authenticity. It therefore does not mean that the Church vouches for its origin or its supernatural character. Details are on Recognition statuses.
